OK heres what I'm looking for in a 42" Plasma TV

1: The ability to scale a HD signal to fit on the screens resolution for the sake of future proofing

2: The ability to connect my PC to it to watch DIVX's or Play games

3: Image Quality for Digital TV and DVD playback

4: It to work well with my Playstation 2

I'll have around £2500 to spend but not till the new year.

I thought from reviews the Hitachi 5200 was good but allot of forum goers dont like the ALIS screen so which other 42" screens should I be looking at?

£2500 in the new year will probably get you into an Ex demo Panny PHD6 or perhaps even close to PHD7 there are also the the Pioneer panels:
Have a look at some of these:

Al need some hard work to get best image but will add £1000+ to the price of a panel.... for a complete system for £2.5k then this is more realistic..
