Total Novice - Connection Help needed!

Got my Denon 2805 home, thinking that connecting it up would be easy. Now I'm not so sure.

Do I need to have an analogue phone cable between my DVD player and the amp, in addition to a digital coax cable? I had thought that the digital cable did it all.

If I do - can anyone recommend where I can get a good 9m cable?

As long as your not using DVDA or SACD the digital cable should be ok
