    Hey all
Hope someone can help with this, I upgraded my HTPC today by changing the graphics card to a sapphire ati 4870 VAPOR model
with hdmi out and installed an lg blu/hd-dvd reader however now tmt won't play anything.. I uninstalled the old graphics drivers
for my ati x1950 before installing the new card. And I'm using the ati 9.4 drivers for the new card. I have not installed any of the
software that came with the blu/hd-dvd reader. And have tried uninstalling and reinstalling tmt but it makes no difference. I am
running win vista home edition 64bit, service pack 2.

I would appreciate any advice anyone has..

What version of TMT is it, and is it a full version, or the demo?

Ok have upgraded my ati catalyst drivers to 9.5 and that didn't make any difference so I tried installing the power
dvd trial that comes on the dvd with the LG blu/hd-dvd reader and that plays fine. Although its a 2 channel trial
version so not much use. And from what I understandand the latest power dvd
    has had hd-dvd support removed?.

It depends how you are getting sound - the version that comes with the LG player can still output 5.1 via optical, which is what I do.

You are correct in thinking that version 8 and 9 of PowerDVD do not support HD-DVD
