Toshiba xs32 and sky+

    Hi all if I upgrade to sky+ can I still use my Tosh to archive anything that I have recorded on to the sky hard drive or do they somehow encript the films or programs

    A large number of on the forum have both Sky+ and a HDD/DVDR combi - so yes you can use both. Sky+ is the ideal timeshifter whilst the HDD/DVDR is ideal for recording anything you want to edit and archive.

    Sky+ won't let you record Box Office content though (neither will your current Sky digibox).

    Don't forget that the IR blaster control on the xs32 doesn't work with Sky+ and I haven't heard of anyone getting the IR control to work yet!
