I hope I got this right so far: the xs32 can record from analogue TV but could also record from a freeview box if a compatible one is connected?

How does the xs32 control the freeview box? Would I need to leave the box switched on or can the xs32 switch the box on and off?

Is it possible to set the xs32 up so that I can record either from analogue TV or the freeview box without plugging cables in and out? I live in Northern Ireland and can get the RTE 1, 2 and so on via analogue TV, therefore a standard freeview PVR is not ideal as I couldn't record from these channels.

    Anyone knows about this?

You would be more likely to get an answer in the DVD Recorders forum :smashin:
