Has anyone heard any more about a Toshiba OLED, possibly dubbed X97? Saw on another forum they note its log line of, "The new range will include accessible OLED and wide colour gamut TVs".
Supposedly it's being brought forth in Europe and with a London show.

Apparently tomorrow is a Europe news/event with invitation show for London soon. At least it's happening, though Vestel have the distribution rights for Europe and tend to do the lower tier models with mixed review results from buyers.

Inputlag less than 1ms!

Toshiba boasts that the X97 achieves a picture that “looks exactly as the movie and TV directors intended,” in part because it can show 99% of the DCI-P3 colour space. That's a whole lot of possible hues right there.

Motion is handled by Toshiba's MEMC (motion estimation/motion compensation) system to reduce blur and ghosting while the footie's on or you're streaming something a bit fast-paced from the built-in Netflix app or catch-up services.

The smart features additionally include ScreenShare, enabling you to share content from an Android device straight to the TV screen.

This is also one for gamers to keep an eye on, as Tosh claims an input lag of less than 1ms. Call of Duty WW2 on a 65-inch OLED is, quite frankly, the stuff of which FPS dreams are made.

On the more physical side of things, the X97 comes equipped with four HDMI ports, although we're not yet sure how many of them will play nice with a UHD signal. It also has an edge-to-edge screen design, which means it has no bezel.

Toshiba has crashed the OLED TV party with the 65-inch X97

If Tosh' claims hold up for input lag, this could make some gamers rue their LG etc. buying decision and push as of yet sales in Tosh's way.
However, with so little solid info or reviews only time will tell in, unfortunately, more than milliseconds.

Kinda looks like Toshiba shoved their logo on a B6

just read on trustedreviews it's selling point may be £200 under LGs, so that's a dead duck as it's launching in Sept. and other sets will be cheaper/same with much better features in vision and possibly sound too. Oh, except it has a scart socket:rotfl:
One for the bargain bin, no doubt.
