I have been using Datawrite Greys with theTosh X32, burnt over 125 no problems! But SVP.com have stopped selling them! and the similar replacement - Datawrite Titanium - I had a few coasters!.

Anyone used the following (a little more costly)!

    Premium Quality Sony 8x Speed 4.7GB DVD-R (25 RETAIL TUB) £9.25

    PREMIUM Quality TDK 8x Speed 4.7GB DVD-R (25 FULL RETAIL TUB) £9.25

    From what I have read:

    The Bad: Datawrite - Yellow.

The Good: Verbatum Pastel coloured TY02 Dye.

    Welcome your comments. :lease:

I mentioned in a previous posting that I had 2 failures out of 25 with TDK 8x. They were not labeled premium, and I don't know if that would matter.

I have been using Maxell and Memorex and have not had problems

I would add another thumbs down for the new datawrite (titanium) with the CMC dye - first batch was great but haven't had a single one work since.
Gone back to using Ritek G04/05 discs - tried and tested.

Whatever happened to the Fuji03 dye (used on the first batch of Datawrite Greys and 8x Printables)? I miss it terribly - what a great performer, and fantastic compatibility with other machines....

    Life just ain't fair guys

As it says "ADVDinfo: Prodisc F01 / FUJIFILM03" this means they could be either Fuji or Prodisc. Reports are the Prodisc ones aren't so good. So it depends if you feel lucky...
