Toshiba X3030 digital problem

Hi, i have the 32c3030. I dont normally use the built in digital but my PVR got faulty and i have to watch the TV until i get sky+ installed.

The TV freeview tuner worked great but now it will just show a black screen and make a faint humming noise at different tones. It Wont let me change channel and when i press the menu button it only flashes on the screen for a second then disappears.

Has anybody had this problem or is there a way to totally reset the TV or is it an engineer job. Any help much appreciated

My TOSHIBA 37X3030 has the same problem as the one you described: black screen in digital mode, no chance to switch athe programm or to switch to the menue. So so chance for a soft reset.
Have you solved the problem (if yes, how did you do it?) or is the hardware defect?
