Hi,

I know vcrs are on their way out but mine has just died.

I am thinking of purchasing the Toshiba v852 and was wondering if it is any good or if there are any associated problems with this model.

Thanks

Don't know anything on the Tosh other than it looks fairly well specced, but Panasonic are well known for making superb VCRs. Check out the NVFJ630B:http://www.panasonic.co.uk/product/vhsrecorder/NVFJ630BS.HTM , a little more expensive than the Tosh available in silver or back. Fantastic pic quality in SP and LP, it also has EP (triple the length of a tape... quality is similar to LP on many VCRs). Also another good feature is that you can control it using the Personal Planner from a Sky digibox! Made taping from Sky much easier... that is until I got Sky+:D

Forgot to say, make sure you get the best price by using http://uk.pricerunner.com/ ;)
