Toshiba TV - 32ZT29B - No Services

When I went plasma I gave this TV to my sister. It is only 3 years old now and is apparently faulty.

Comes up with the message "No services". Refuses to change to analogue, to aux channels etc. Can't find the remote so had to try to use the buttons on the side of the TV to make any changes.

Anyone got an idea what the problem could be?

Well I think before you go any further you'll need to find the remote as the message "No Services" refers to the digital channels and you'll need to access the setup menu to tune it to whatever transmitter feeds the area your sister stays at...it can't be done without the remote.
