I was trying to hook up this player using the usual RCA cable to my av amp (a lowly pioner vxc seies) as well as the coaxial lead. I plugged one end in the 2 channel output and the other to the DVD anoluge inputs on the receiver. Selected the DVD signal to be analogue. The sound came out of the speakers, great i thought. However every few seconds a red overload signal would worringly flash on the amp, although the sound was unaffected. I quickly turned it off. Have i tried to do something wrong??
