    Hi guys,

I bought a Toshiba SD530 to replace my ageing Toshiba SD100E. It was getting a bit long in the tooth and needed replacing.

Very happy with picture on the new player but I've noticed some terrible lip sync problems.

Everything is fine for an hour or so and then the lip sync is way out. It makes the film unwatchable to be honest it's so obvious. This is happening on films which were fine on the old 100E.

I've discovered that if I hit rewind for a couple of seconds and start playing again it sorts itself out.

Had wondered if it could be to do with the layer change maybe, since the problems occur about midway through the films.

Does anyone have any advice, other than taking it back to Richer Sounds for a refund - a distinct possibility right now.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
