Toshiba sd350 DVD+R media problems

I wonder if anyone can shed some light for me. I've got a lot of camcorder footage that has been burnt onto DVD+Rs but this player seems to have some major issues with playing them. It will play them of a fashion but then tends to skip and stop. Is this a fault with my machine or do I have to transfer all my footage onto dvd-Rs.

If its playing them but skipping, it sounds like low quality media or too fast a burn. My 350 does not like Bulkpaq discs but likes Datawrite. Try some differant discs.
