I have a question regarding the Toshiba SD-330E. When I first plugged the player into my system I thought the picture was a bit dark, I went into the E.P.M. selection where the default setting is "Normal" I changed the setting to "Movie1" and this made the picture brighter. I then changed the selection back to "Normal"
and the picture became yet another notch brighter!!?? (and was now looking OK) .Selecting the "light" setting makes the picture darker compared to "Normal" setting!!?? . None of the available settings gives me the dark picture I got when I first switched the player on. The problem is that the picture returns to the "dark mode" when it's been in and out of standby and I have to "cycle" the picture mode setting to get the normal picture back every time I want to watch another film. Can someone please confirm if this is a problem with my unit or a generic software bug.

    Thanks JEE
