I've just ordered a toshiba sd-220 to replace my pioneer dv-525.
Is it worth replacing the pioneer with the tosh or will there not be a lot of difference?

Don't know how they compare, but if considering the Tosh sd220e, do you know that Richer Sounds are selling it multi-region for £120 at the moment? Plus I've set one up for someone and it not only worked multi-region but had no problems with RCE.

    I second that,

    Chucked DVD R1 - 4, cd-a, cd-r, cd-rw & mp3 at it and it hasn't flinched. Excellent picture/sound quality, bargain MRfor the price IMHO.

I've decided to wait until my player actually dies, I'm just wasting money at the mo. Thanks for the replies though!

I've been using the SD210 for the last 12 months and am pleases as punch with it.

It originally came free with the TV and thought I'd use it till I decided on something more serious, but i've been so happy with it so far i've kept on using it.

The SD220 is really just a facelift of the 210 model (AFAIK)
