Anyone ever got ahold of one of these ? I have the 43VJ13P Tosh and am trying to find the convergence grid measurements so I can make my own grid and use it as a template to acheive perfect geometry. Feel free to post here if you know the service manuals contain the measurements.

    Thanks in advance. :p

    Hi,
Saw your post in home-cinema newsgroup and nearly replied then.

Yes the service manuals do contain the dimensions of the grids you are looking for.

I have made some up for my 46wh08b, and have yet to use them!! Got used to the lines not being quite straight....

Need further info let me know
    Regards

Thats great stuff, thanks for the reply. One thing - where did you buy your service manual ?? And does the service manual you have contain the dimensions for ALL the Toshiba RPTV range ? I think the American one's do, but obviously european manuals might be different. Please let me know as I'd love to get hold of these dimensions/measurements. :D :D

    Thanks.

The service manuals are not easy to get hold of are they!! Your best bet is to find a local independant dealer who for a few quid over the asking price will order one for you. That is how I got mine
(But mine is in two bits and I have the grids bit am waiting for the rest)

Depends how far out your lines are, as after making mine up I think I could have made a damn good job without the measurements.

What problems do you have or are you a "Perfectionist like I used to be":D

Well somewhat of a perfectionist :D , but the main thing I want to sort out is overscan, its like 10% on the tv and am trying to get it down to 5% with the aid of the grid dimensions, when you reduce HIT/WID to achieve 5% it totally messes the geometry up so I don't wanna do that without of grid. :D So the manual you have only contains the grid dimensions for your tv and not other Tosh lines ?

    Thanks again.

Thanks for the help, I'm gonna try contacting a couple of companies which offer spare parts/accessories for various products. Hoepfully Seme.co.uk should have the service manual. :D
