    Hi,

I have a 3 year old Tosh 40" RPTV with manual convergence. Just lately the convergence messes up and the red seperates from the other colours. Blue and green become apparent and they seperate in lines and the lines bend the problem is really bad. It looks like interference. Changing the convergence makes no difference.

I have standing speakers either side as well as a long Sony satellite center speaker on top but they are sheilded AFAIK. Also they have been there for the last few years with no problem anyway so don't see why it would be the problem.

It is really intermittent and for the most part the picture is fine. When the problem kicks in only happens for seconds a time and can last for 5-10 minutes. I assume this means my bulbs are on the way out and as RPTV's are so cheap these days, it would't be worth repairing. Can anyone shed any light on this?

    Rob
