Has anyone noticed a problem with the Tosh RDXS34 whereby if you leave it on for a long time lets say 4 hours or so while recording the colour on the TV becomes 'grayscale' kind of.
It appears as though it has lost one of the colours and when you playback the recording the output is the same as what you are seeing i.i.e. with one of the colours e.g green missing. Is this caused by the machine overheating or is it just my particular machine which has this problem? or is it a faulty cable but it only happens when you are recording for a long time.

I suspect it is a problem with your particular machine.
Unlikely to be a faulty cable as it would not be time-related.
Obviously change the scart lead first and see.
