Does anybody know of a good online dealer that has these IN STOCK at a good price? I have contacted several that list them, only to find they are out of stock - delivery expected in October.
    Thanks

I ordered mine from www.qed-uk.com on Friday last week.
I've paid £314inc VAT & Delivery and I will be taking delivery tomorrow of the item.
However when I bought the item I was told "We've only got a few left". - so you might want to give them a call first.

Like you I've had a lot of hassle finding anywhere with stock.
The above company were the only people with stock out of the 8 companies I contacted!!

try Kelkoo.co.uk, link to lxdirect.com says available at £309. Does list cheaper on other sights but doesn't quote availability

    Thanks for the suggestions folks.
Although the QED site states the tosh is in stock, clicking through reveals delivery
times of upto 14 days.. I would like things to move quicker!
lxdirect are out, expect new stock in October.

Some switched on dealer must have these in stock! ??

    Thanks Ajix & dvdope.
    RGB don't have stock.
I'm waiting for buyyourav.com to reply to my email asking if their price is the £270 you
mention, or the £350 listed on their web site! - and if they have stock...

Unfortunately I can answer this one for you as they were one of the suppliers I contacted on Thursday/Friday last week when I was desperately trying to source one.

The reason they are currently listing the price at £350 and not £270 is because they don't currently have any stock and don't know when they are likely to get any.
They expected some last Wednesday which did not turn up - they are apparently hoping again for this coming Friday.
They don't however want people placing orders while this stock problem is as it is, so they have increased the price on their website until such time as they are carrying stock again.
Once they have stock (and as long as they haven't had to pay through the nose to get it) they will drop their prices again.

I tried nearly every UK site that Google returned as a stockest of the XS34 last Thursday/Friday and I got the same reply from them all.
No stock now, we hope to deliver within 10-14 days however it could be the beginning of October before we see any.
Toshiba apparently just cannot keep production up.
qed-uk.com responded to my e-mail within 10 minutes when I contacted them and they told me they had a "handful" left.
I placed an order at 5:00pm Friday, got e-mail confirmation this morning and selected tomorrow as my date of delivery - City Link got their hands on my unit at around 11:00am this morning.
Around £314 inc Vat & Delivery.
They site is still saying they were in stock as of 5:30am Monday morning - did you give them a call to confirm availability rather then rely on their site?

Thanks cbray. I shall check this out, although we are several coiunties away from a branch....
Seems most dealers are out of stock & expecting more in October. I'm experiencing small boy in toy shop syndrome - I want it NOW! - but maybe the smart move would be wait until October and more price competition. And to eat my vegetables...

I got mine from Costco in Manchester - actually, the Oldham branch - about 2 weeks ago. It was the last one (sorry!) and I've been back since and there weren't any there.

I got one from Kayslifestile at £258.99 with a 30% off code, but I will have to wait for them to come in :( . Lets hope it's worth the wait.
