Toshiba RDSX32 Burning fault

    I think that's what mine did too. I used to take the discs out and throw them away in disgust, but I recall there seemed to be a ring on the recorded surface which didn't look right.

    Did you consider that it might be a fault with the discs and not the recorder?

    By what mechanism would a laser, burning a linear concentric track, make a circular spot-shaped mark along the way?
