Toshiba RD-XS34 and DVD+R

    Hi, I am thinking of purchasing the RD-XS34, and was wondering if anyone knows if it supports DVD+R playback. Or if it doesn't is it possible to upgrade the firmware so that it can

    It plays my +R discs (though it will not record onto them of course.).

    yes the tosh will only record DVD-R and DVD-RW, but of course it will play almost everything...

    If you can wait a few months, there will be loads of fantastic DVDRs out soon- multi-standard, dual-layer, and hi-quality tweaks, etc...
