Just finished setting this up without too many probs after going through the threads on this board.

Stuck on setting the Sky + box code so that the Tosh remote allows changing of the sat channels.
The only code in the manual for the Pace box 1474 doesnt help. Is this facility essential for the machine to progranmme record from the Sky box ? .

Am I correct in thinking that I cannot watch another channel whilst the machine is recording ?

    Any ideas

    TIA

The Sat Cont code allows the XS32 to change the channel on your Sky Box (so you don't need to programme the Sky box, though you would need to leave it on). If you can't get this to work then you will need to set a timer on Sky as well (or leave Sky on tunned to the channel you want).

You can't watch another channel with the XS32 tuner while recording (i.e. if it is recording Sky from AV2, you can't watch BBC1 from the internal (analong) tuner).

You can however watch another recording on your XS32, at the same time as recording a new one.

Thanks for the quick reply Mark
Maybe some Sky + users may know a useable code.

Not sure about Sky +, I have a new Panasonic Sky box (not +) and was advised to use code 0326 which seemed to work for alot of other users. Give that a go.
