Hi, I have just purchased a brand-new Toshiba 23WLT 56B flat screen TV, and I can get audio to the left speaker only when in DTV mode (despite checking the obvious balance and other settings), whilst in ATV mode everything is fine! I have reset the set {no pun...} several times and swapped rooftop-mounted aerials but all to no avail. I own the smaller version of this model, the 20WLT 56B, and have had no such problems.

Has anyone any ideas on this one?

    Cheers'

Hi, dj. The problem arises, it seems, when either Stereo (ie normal operating mode) or right-channel mono ("Dual 2" as Toshiba call it) is set. All I get is audio in the left speaker on these settings. However, to further complicate things, if "Effects" is selected, all is well and there is stereo for everyone!!! Can you explain that..

And just to remind you, the problem doesn't occur in ATV mode, it just appears to be a Digital TV thing. And this was my Christmas present!:rolleyes:

    Confused.
