I am torn between two 28 inch tv's, does anyone want to push me one way or the other?

I can go basic in which case there is the
Toshiba 28Z33 (presumably an update of the Z23?)

or I can go slightly better in which case there is the
Loewe Aventos (although 100hz worries me and apparent lack of retailers!)

    Any thoughts?

I picked a leaflet up at weekend on the Loewe Avento 3981 (the 32 in model)and it gets top marks all round apart form dropping one on sound, which I would not bother too much if you are feeding it to an AV system, and the other dropped point is ease of use.
Maybe so but if the Aventos is anything like the Aconda which I have there are more features on it than you can shake a stick at. Not may TV’s with Picture in Picture.

    oh guys!

don't do this to me   :(

i'm getting really overwhelmed now...with more n more makes coming on the scene for me to decide between, lol

don't know what to do now...i remember years ago 'window shopping' around posh hi fi shops and seeing loewe stuff n thinking wowzers that looks expensive. now after seeing that they are similiar price to sets i'm looking at has got my head spinning...

don't suppose theres a chance someone could take a look at my other thread and offers any words of wisdom please?

Help for a 'Home Cinema Newbie' pls

their sets do look great though, asthetically aswell as features-wise...

    it'd be much appreciated
    thanks

Having spoke with Tosh' regarding the 32z33, (I'm presuming that this goes for the 28 as well) the only difference between the 23 and 33 is the year of manufacture and minor cosmetic changes. Loewe may be the Dogs Nutsack but for the money, the Tosh is a far better buy. What Video TV have just reviewed the 32Z23 and gave it 4 out of 5 so logically the 33 series cant be too bad either. If the 23 series is being replaced as of November you should pick the 28" up for buttons, you might even get a 32" cheap.

I'd hang on a little while if you're not too desperate.
