    Very exciting..should liven up competition.
For those non-french speakers amongst us here is a rough Babelfish translation of the specs.

Very pleased about Carl Zeiss optics, not so sure about 35dB of noise. Very much looking forward to seeing one!

    Ian Guinan

Looks good, it only mentions the noise level in normal mode which is a loud 35db. I wonder what other modes it does ?

Have heard 'mutterings' of a european price for the Infocus version of this to be around 7500 euros without local VAT, so could translate to a UK price of under £6K. Toshiba could be different though.

Take this with a pinch of salt of course and bear in mind that in the past Infocus have been pretty good as regards the discounts you can find if you shop around. I think this 'Screenplay' projector will not be available in all the usual Infocus outlets though.

Either way a bright, high contrast HD2 projector with Carl Zeiss optics at this sort of price is most welcome, and might force Sim2 to be keener with their pricing.

    Regards

Well the first reports coming in from CEDIA are looking very good about the MT8/Screenplay7200 over at AVS.

Maybe we have a winner here guys?

Also, I've yet to hear bad rainbow reports!
