I've a battery from an L450 which will fit the L300. From memory it holds a good charge 60 minutes minimum.

    Model No. PA3534U-1BRS

    £15 plus postage?

watch when your shipping it mate, royal mails decided that batteries are a not allowed as they are dangerous and they immediately destroy them once they have put them through there xray machines

    Thanks for the advice.

I'll probably send via Collect+ who haven't heard of x-rays yet.

Op has not got back anyway so it's academic but good advice for others.

Here's a link for restricted goods: A guide to the restrictions that apply to items sent by Royal Mail. | Royal Mail Ltd

Upon a quick read it would seem this battery is fine providing it's properly packaged, Li-Po batteries are a no go but if they come ready seated in the product they power then it seems to be fine, yet again provided it's properly packaged. That's what it says but I managed to received a new battery for my HTC phone yesterday and this is more than likely a Li-Po, go figure.

yeah mate they used to send the batteries back to my work but then after a few of them failed to get back to us we went phoning royal mail and whats happened is the EU's passed a law that says second hand lithium batteries and other similar things are now dangerous and banned from flying so u cant ship overseas or within the country, and here where the problem gets more complicated its not illegal for them to travel by land but royal mails decided to ban them completely as they cannot guarantee they wont be put on a plane
