I bought a toshiba 42" r/p about a month ago and every now and then I am getting a noise interference in the background. Does anybody know how to get rid of it. Thanks

When you say noise interference is this picture or audio noise?

Are all your leads fully screened? If not this can lead to picture/audio noise, interference from other channels.

If it happens every now and then it could be some electrical appliance in the home.

A list of other equipment/interconnects and how you are connecting them would help more.

The inteference is fainter voices as if it is from another channel. I have a video, dvd and ntl box hooked up to the tv but I have double checked all these against the manual. It has only happened a couple of times but may get a bit annoying if it continues.

Don't know how you have them connected, but i would connect......

    DVD AV1 > TV AV1 (RGB)
    NTL AV1 > DVD AV2 (RGB) I'm assuming NTL's digital
    NTL AV2 > VCR AV2
    VCR AV1 > TV AV2

Make sure all scarts are fully screened and of good quality.

You can also try connecting VCR AV1 > TV AV3
