    Hello,

my machine has locked up 3 times know and Im getting to a point of bringing it back:rolleyes:

    When does it lockup:

    1. If you leave a disk in the drive and let it time out (after 20mins)

    2. After playing a JAP Region 2 disk.

Im hoping this is world wide and not just my machine. If the firmware update fixes it thats ok, but Im not H.P at the mo.

Watched Jarhead today (crap film) but a nice sound track and picture.

Mine has locked up a few times too, I will be getting mine replaced I think since it also doesn't play SD-DVD's and won't play my MI3 HD-DVD. It's played the other 5 HD-DVD's I've played so far flawlessly and I love the player.

However it seems faulty so I'll be getting a replacement.

Noggin, I ran MI3 today (it played) but only after reseting the machine again.????

First time round the disk played but had NO sound. Amp was showing MPCM for audio 5 chan, but NO sound:eek:

Works ok now, so ill hold on till i speak to Tosh in the new year. Let me know how you get on wih your new machine. Must be a Firmware issue??

    Happy new Year,

    Nigel
