    Toshiba has joined HP in converting from single format to dual format by adding full + support to their PC burners:

    It's fairly clear now the future on PCs is for multi-format drives only - a good thing IMHO as it will reduce confusion that is stopping many from buying a DVDR. Only Panasonic and Dell exclusively make single format drives now - but for how much longer (especially as Panasonic already hold a + licence and, if asked, Dell will happily install a - burner on a Dell desktop)? In the world of standalones the market remains as divided as ever though...
