Hi, could someone please explain and/or summarise the differences between some of Toshiba’s CRTs? The three model ranges, ZD, ZT and ZP. Are there differences in picture quality between these sets, or are the differences ‘feature’ orientated?

For example, the new ZP offers PAL and NTSC progressive scan, whereas the ZD only provides NTSC progressive scan (a feature difference). However, is the picture quality the same with the two sets in NTSC progressive scan mode?

Further, are some of the differences only linked to the sound that the sets provide? If so, these differences are clearly unimportant if one is using a separate sound system…

Finally, does anyone know what the different parts of the model name mean – namely the second number, and the letter at the end?

    Ta,

    Gav
