Toshiba (520E) DVD - is there an engineer menu?

My Tosh DVD is a terrible performer with DVD-R's, they keep pausing all the time.

Does anyone know if there is an engineers menu (like their TV's) that can be accessed? (I already know the Zoom 6 0 6 Zoom one). Its a 520E

The "Designer" menu on the Tosh TV's is just a few remote button presses and allows you to change just about every aspect of the geometry/colour etc. Be warned, you can seriously b***ocks up you picture. See here for more details

The Zoom etc. on the Tosh DVD players is just a display of firmware levels and settings etc, nothing you can play with.

 

Cheers for that link bob, had a look and it all looks a little big to 'big brained' for me so i'll think i'll be able to cope with the one issue i have with my Tv. And it doesn't seem that the dvd one is very exciting.
