I have my 510 connected to my panny projector using a set of component cables

However - can I still have it connected to the TV with a SCART cable ?

Not sure, but I am sure that you can't have rgb and component at the same time.

Yes, but only S-Video or Video via Scart. Setting the Video Output to RGB disables the Component Output.

The only player I know off that allows you to use the component and SCART at the same time is the Philips 963SA, mainly because the component section is run on completely different Faroudja based circuit to the SCART / S-Video section.
