I am getting one of these tvs very soon, and was wondering if there are any problems when viewing sports programmes like football, rugby. I have heard that some tvs may have problems like vertical banding or smearing.
    thanks ,David

I've had no problems with mine. Pic quality is never as good as when watching a studio transmission but that's nothing to do with the TV. If you're getting a digital source such as Sky, be sure to set the input on the box settings menu to RGB rather than composite and see huge improvement in quality.

    No problem with sports...

The only " odd " occurence is fast scrolling text that appears jittery and blurred due to the 100hz processing trying to keep up!

Unless your football tanks across the whole screen in around 1 second, I don't think you will have a problem
