    Hey there.

After spending a good couple of hours building the tailor made stand for the Tosh 46wm48, I couldn't work out how to fasten that little strap/clip - which appears to connect the back of the TV to the top of the stand (perhaps to prevent TV from tipping over??).

Any advice would be much appreciated.

btw. loving this TV: bought it from costco - which included a 3 year guarantee and tailor made stand, for free (well, £1530, inclusive of VAT). Pretty good price, huh... and amazing quality (thou', been searching for a TV for about 4 months, before finally buying this one... so, wouldn't exactly call it an impulse buy :)).

    bye bye

hi jon , you have to undo the screw in the bottom back of the TV and replace through the hole in the strap . it just stops the TV falling off the stand if its knocked .

hope you are happy with the set - i love mine :)

The strap is to prevent the TV from toppling forward off the stand. It is attached to the TV by removing one of the existing screws and refitting the screw with one end of the strap. You would need to have attached the 'clip' to the pre-drilled hole under the top shelf of the stand - and this takes the other end of the strap. If you have fixed the clip onto the lower side of the shelf, then you can see from it's position which of the screws to use on the TV to attach the end of the strap.

Thanks for the tips.. Although I've attached the strap to the TV (via the screw) and the Clip to the stand, I can't work out how to fasten the strap to the clip (ie.. it doesn't seem to clip together)?

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Any tips much appreciated

Difficult to describe - but here goes. Open the clip, push end of strap under, close clip.
