THANKS CHRISGEO...yea i put this up as a price rumour as i thought people wouldnt want to read the other threads just to look at prices and not what people think of the panel iteslf...i dont want to take away the other peoples owners threads .....i would also like it if people kept to the price and not stray off the thread as its helping me and others about prices.....as i really really want this tv at the best possible price in the next 6 weeks (few weeks after release) .....

right you giys there is stock out there for this great tv...but at a price and i think the reason for the high price is that there is limited stock levels ....

    BUT ..PLAY.COM have it for pre-order ...

    http://www.play.com/Electronics/Ele...-TV/Product.html?searchtype=genre&source=9593

    all for £1179.99...

good price ...but im i will wait till around mid November to early December before i buy it as the mistakes i have made in the past in buying a tv as soon as its off the production line has not gone down to well...and have 4 faulty plasmas ..im never going back to plasma...as soon as my samsung get wrote off i will keep the money in the bank untill im ready to buy this toshiba ..as im definatly going to purchase this baby..

i think when every retailer has stock of this toshiba you will see masive price drops as they will be competing with each other...i hope i can get the 42in for around £1000 around november-december time ...this would make me a very happy man indeed...as now im turning away from the dark side of plasmas ..as they are not what i want in a flat panel..my current plasma is in at martin dawes for repair with 15 problems to fix ..to my knowing right now they have fixed 3 problems...and awaiting other parts..this is now the 3rd week and i have a crappy sanyo 32in LCD on loan ..and wow ..gaming is fantastic...sky SD well isnt as good ,but with 100hz on the tosh will be better...cant believe i went for plasma in the first place....C'MON RIGHT IT OOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFF MAN

I have to say, at £1179, delivered from Play, I would have no qualms buying at this price. But.... I will wait for other people to test it first. The main issue for me is the 24fps judder issue. If it's sorted on this set, as opposed to the x series, then I'll be getting one for sure.

    Full 1080p display
24fps judder elimination (to be confirmed)
    10000:1 contrast
    Active vision M100 HD

On paper, it sounds perfect. Please, Toshiba, don't let me down with the judder....

On another note, what are the black levels like on these new tv's? I currently have a 37wlt66. Will this Z have better blacks?

ha, I know, which will be just in time for us all to be tempted by an even NEWER Tosh round the corner. Probably with glowing lights down the back and sides. Not seen that before on a TV.

My ToshibaFund is gradually depleting though. Having to dip into it for a night out tonight. I really need some PROPER stock and prices to come in across the board.

If it has to be Komplett though, it'll be Komplett.

    I dunno.

I was keeping an eye on the prices of the 32D3000 a while back. Started @ £1099 - and within 5 weeks was down to less than £750. Now it can be had for less than £650 at various internet stores and that's less than 3 months after it's release. For that sort of saving, I'm prepared to wait. Besides which - £400 buys a lot of

Although the D3000 was accompanied by an entirely new wave of Sony's just following it.

I wonder if we could use the X3030 and XD1E prices as an indication of what kind of drop we'd expect. What were they when they came out?

Well today is the day for Komplett to have some in stock according to their page... but nothing there. 1 PCS or (pucks if you watch Fonejacker) to be in today it said.

I get paid in 2 days. I really want to get on this!
