    Hi,

Years and Years ago i decided to buy the Toshiba 420e DVD player as it had a Dolby Digital Decoder built into it ( 5.1 Analogue out ).

Recently I've bought myself the new Samsung 32 inch LCD TV.

As you can imagine the quality isn't great... give me blurry vision back !

    Just a quick question...

I'd like a Better Picture Quality then SCART.

Will Component Out on the back of the DVD into my Samsung be better ? or do i need to ditch it and buy a new DVD player with HDMI out ?

    Cheers,

    > Guy

    ps.

Is there a DVD player on the market that has HDMI out and 5.1 analogue out ?

    Hi.
I think component will be a little better than scart. The only advantage you will get with hdmi (IMO) is the single small cable for audio and video, as opposed to the FIVE connections you will have to make with component.
