£800 all in is an excellent deal for that amount of telly. I bought a 43" 4:3 Toshiba nearly 2 years ago for £1200 with 5 year waranty and earlier this year got a Samsung 42" 16:9 set for £600 from Skybuy. Even though I also have a pj I'd say that RPTVs are the best value if you've got space for them. Remember in 2 years plasmas will have come down another £500 or so whereas RPTVs are pretty much at the end of their life cycle in price terms.
