    Hello
I have had a Toshiba 37WLT68 for a year or more.
It seemed OK ( appart from the awful remote control ) until recently.
The problem may have been there all along and I have not noticed it.
However now I see it, it gets very annoying.
    The problem ...
In the top left quadrant of the screen a blemish appears as a foot long inch wide diagonal streak.
At first I thought is was some dirt from being wiped badly.
It only appears under certain background conditions such as pale buff colours.
With bright white nothing is visible.
It seem to happen a lot on the Xfiles which is probably fitting.
But it can happen on any program / channel / input.
Most often conditions are such that it doesn't appear !

Anyone had a similar problem ?

    Thanks

Just posted this on another thread, but no answer yet. Is this what you're talking about? If so, it might be a problem with the 68 series.

Not too sure how to describe this but I guess that's as good as.
I've got a Toshiba 37WLT68 probably about two years old and there seems to be a permanent dark wavy line which recently appeared, and has become quite noticable (shows up best on blue screen as here).

(Sorry don't seem to be able to figure out how to embed, when I try it just doesn't show up at all)

Thought at first that it might have been dirt but it's definitely not (unless it's somehow got dirty on the inside??).
Anyone any ideas what it might be? I bought the TV through John Lewis so it's still under warranty and wonder if anyone knows what it is, is it fixable?
    Thanks
