    Hi All

I am interested in getting this screen but would like some thoughts and reviews on this set before I purchase.

I have checked the forums for this set and there is not many posts on it (few peeps complaining about buzzing noise etc) So if anyone has this set I would very much like to here your opinion on it and if anyone knows where there is a online review that would be excellent.

    Many thanks
    Ross

I Saw this set in Currys. It had a nice bright picture and reasonable sound and remote control. It should give Philips a run for its money as it is a lot cheaper. There is a thread already on buzzing Toshiba LCDs and, although I have heard buzzing Plazmas, I have not heard it so far in LCD tvs.

I picked my set up last Saturday from Hughes electrical
£1700 inc 3 year warranty which is a tad more than internet prices but I feel safer dealing with a local well known company.

I haven't (so far) noticed the buzzing but will probably do so soon.

I think the picture on normal broadcast (Freeview) is ok but looks very artificial. When connected via HDMI to DVD at 720p the quality (IMHO) is superb - more natural colours and way better definition. I don't think LCD will ever compare to DLP or a decent plasma but for me it is the best choice

The only major gripe I have is that the set doesn't auto switch to whichever source is connected.

    Hope this is of use
