    Hi,

Bought a 36ZP48 last week and it has worked perfectly until last night.
Set was on standby hit the button to goto channel 1 and for a split second I heard sound then nothing except a fashing green clock symbol next to the standby symbol.

Pressing button on the remote does nothing. If I press standby again the clock symbol stops flashing pressing a channel again does nothing except after 3 seconds the clock symbol starts to flash again.

If I power off then back on it sounds like a deguass then nothing and the clock symbol appears again.

The screen remains totally off throughout no flickers or anything.

    Tried un plugging it overnight
tried leaving the clock sysmbol for hours
tried ringing Tosh help line, no help
tried ringing retailer they said nothing can be done until Monday

    any ideas? is it deed

    I'm missing the Golf!!!!!!!!

    :(

Don't know if this will help, but it's copied from the manual:-

To cancel the On timer, enter zero in each
    position including the programme position.

Good luck the golf's excellent on my 36ZP48.

I read that, but I can't get the screen to come on at all.
the clock symbol is flashing and not steady.

Thanks anyway, I must admit I was loving the golf on my great, new, big telly.
