    Hi,

Could anyone please clear up a few points about the Audio processing options on a Toshiba 36ZP48?

    1. If the TV is connected to a Sky+ (Non-HD) box via Scart and the Optical Digital Audio is also connected to the TV's DA-1 input is there an automatic priority as to which Sound type is selected if there are options?

    2. If present, does a Dolby Digital audio signal take priority over the Dolby Pro-Logic and Digital Surround options.

There seems to be various audio options available depending on the channel selected on the Sky+ box and I wondered if there was any automatic prioritisation working in the background.

Lastly, on checking the TV audio output levels to the 4 surround speakers the front speakers are set to a higher level (61) than the rear speakers (51). As a total newbie to setting up TV audio options I wondered if this is a generally used setting, ie, front higher than rear for Dolby Digital or Dolby Pro-Logic etc.

    Rgds
