It is a returned set.Be wary as there must have some kind of fault.Very cheap though.

Blimey, wonder if I can exercise my barclaycard price promise on that and get £400 back?! Worth a try that's for sure!

    Cheers,
    Andy.

At the top of the page they are on, it describes them as 'As New'.

The products on this page are classed as "AS NEW", Supplied to us directly from the manufacturers. "As New" is a broad description used for product's, that for various reason's have been subject to repair. This repair could be for mechanical, electrical or cosmetic reasons. All products are then sold on an "As New" basis, they come with a manufacturers full 12 month parts and labour warranty. Buy this product with confidence and save in the region of 30%/50% on its typical retail price.

I would not worry, they have a 12 month warranty like new products.

When you get it, post back and let us know what it is like .
    Thanks :)

When i went on their home page, i just did a search for the model no... Noticed it had 'AN' after model number but didn't realise it was As New. Ordered online unaware of this(nothing else on that page to denote this). The model number they had listed was for the nicam model but with Prologic specs(presumed this to be an error as info appears to be lifted straight off the toshiba site) and because elewhere had been selling nicam model at £799 they were doing the same.

Will give them a call to confirm...

More than happy with Dolby Digital model for £799 as still has full warranty, providig it is 'New' looking when it all arrives.

Anybody know where best bet for 3rd Party extended warranty would be????

As I said, you should be alright.Let us Know.

If you pay with Barclaycard you get 2 years ? free warranty until end of month.

Comet do a TV warranty for £3 per month , not bad.
