The Toshiba 36ZP38, which was £1999 at Currys and Comet, has in the past few days been reduced to £1499 - does that mean that internet resellers like Robertsons (currently £1424) will now follow and cut their prices, or is all the big chains have done is cut their margins?

    Any opinions?

    Thanks!

Hmm, looks like it might already be happening; Robertson now have it on sale at £1368, which strangely is still more than Comet on-line (£1347.95). Interesting....

To clarify, that includes a free DVD player at Currys etc, and a free DVD player and VHS at Robertsons...

They're not exactly "free" if they cost an extra £56.
