Absolute novice seeks help and advice on how to get the best from my Toshiba TV. Current set-up is:-
    Toshiba 36ZP18P
    Panasonic S-VHS V-HS825B
    Toshiba SD-210E DVD
I have sky digital but currently it is linked only through the magic eye (single cable). The digibox is in another room but shortly to be installed with the above mentioned equipment.
I have connected the VCR and DVD with scart to scart cable on scarts two and three of the tv. The picture and sound is o.k. but I think could be improved upon. I am unsure as to the settings on the av screen for the tv with these connections (see told you I was a novice)

At this stage I am happy just to have the above equipment and use the tv's four small external speakers for audio purposes. Could you please advise what should go where and with what without being too technical. Much obliged, Linda

DVD > TV (component video = 3x phono)
    DVD > TV (optical cable)
Digibox > TV (into scart 1 - select RGB as the video signal)
Digibox > VCR (into scart 2)

You need to select the digital audio source to the component video connection (as mentioned in the manual)
