    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has the same problem as I do with geometry? See image below. Basically, it looks like the right side of the screen is more "squashed" than the left side. I looked in the service menu, but couldn't see anything to adjust it. Not that I know what most of the settings do! Any ideas on how to correct it?

    Thanks

    Hi

See if there is a setting HLIN or H-LIN (Horizontal Linearity)

Don't know mate, but my tosh 36ZP48 has convergence issues and a small tilt - you have to live geometry errors with CRT technology in my experience.

BTW, where did get/load that test shot?

It was from a Swedish SVT2 channel that I recorded. I've uploaded it for you here http://www.captainjack2003.plus.com/svt.mpg

Just record it to DVD and play it back on your DVD player.

Looks like I'll have to live with the geometry issue for the time being (unless someone has any more suggestions)... until I get my big plasma... but that's not until I get my new house, which isn't until next year...

    I am depressed now... :(

Nice one, thanks for the upload mate! If you want to improve your picture a bit, I found the settings bboy-mass posted here are pretty decent

    http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=147573&page=2

Just tried them and they've improved my PQ quite a bit, but I've kept the colour at 50 and haven't lowered the sharpness so much. Won't sort your geometry woes but worth a try!

Thanks but this doesn't work on my 32yt56, maybe because it's a CRT and been made by Vestel in Turkey and badged Toshiba.
I did have the code given me by a Comet engineer but I've lost it.
