Just wondering as I've just bought one, and is it reliable.
for a hassle-free software upgrade which I can vouch for.
Will cost you £20.
Been playing a mix of R1 and R2 for the last few weeks on my 330 with no problems.
Sorry, just re-read what I had written above and I haven't explained myself enough.
I've bought the 330 which is already multi region and I'm just wondering what is done to make it so, and if the way that it is made multi region, is it a reliable way.
I think they may have used "chips" in the early days of DVD, but now they are all done by inserting a special software disk into the drive which makes the player multi-region without any need for soldering bits to the circuit boards.
I am no expert, thats a guess.
