Anyone else having the same problem?
It won't read what's on the disc.
I can hear the laser searching back and forth but nothing happens.
The first time I tried it nothing would work afterwards, the : stop, eject or power button!
I had to pull the plug from the mains in the end which did the trick.

It is the first time that I've used the burner to burn an mp3 track onto a disc. Perhaps I did something wrong, but I don't think so.

I use Nero, which is simple enough:
    Click on 'compile cd'
    Click 'data'
Drag mp3's across which you wish to put onto disc and click 'burn'.

That's all that has to be done, unless I've missed something simple?

I've tried it twice now and it's the same each time: The cdrs can't be read.

Do you have any problems with normal 74R cdrs? I vaguely remember reading somewhere that not all players would support 80min for similar reasons that not all players support CDRW. My multi changer in the car won't read anything except original discs. :(

As you say, Nero is simple and that's the way I burn mp3s wih no problems. My old Samsung was very temperamental whether or not it would play a disc or not but since I changed DVD player to 757ai, absolutely no problems now.
