I may be getting one of these sets purely for use as a games TV with my Xbox and PS2 ( a bit over the top but sod it ?.)

Anyone had any problems with this set, is it as good as the mags say.

I will be using RGB scart and possibly component if I get my Xbox modded.

What I dont want is Lines down the screen on RGB, hopefully Toshiba have sorted this out by now.

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Hi M8,

What happened to the JVC? Have a look at the new Philips 9509 you may like it.

The JVC was really great apart from horizontal lines on RGB.

I tried anaother set but that did the same. I am really gutted as the picture was simply superb bit for £900 I want perfection.

Phoned JVC and they had never heard of the problem (surprise surprise !).

I might wait a few weeks for the new, black 32" JVC which looks very sexy, with any luck this wont have the same problem.

JVC, Toshiba or possibly a Sony, I cant decide.

Do you have any info on the new JVC. Like you, I had the current version and it was nice apart from the lines, and its size.

I think it will be available in a few weeks, not sure how much it will be.
