I am thinking of buying one of these tv's and would like to know whether I need a DVD that can output progreesive scan to get the best out of this tv. If so can anybody recommend one that comes with component outputs and is around the £200 mark or less.

    Many Thanks

Progressive Scan DVD players usually have better de-interlacing than the TV's own internal de-interlacer (assuming the 32ZP38 has it's own Progressive Scan Mode). I know it can accept both PAL and NTSC Progressive Scan via it's Component Inputs so how about the new Toshiba SD530 that is due to appear any day now? It's just under 200 quid and available from www.leconcepts.com

Toshiba DVD players are excellent. :)
