On the new Toshiba 'strata' tv's (**zd26 / **zt29) is the progressive scan mode a true basic 50hz mode - I know this mode is for viewing NTSC DVD's in progressive rather than interlaced but does this mode stop all the 100hz digital smearing on fast action such as football and fast moving horizontal text ?
